Dave Egeberg

Dave has decades of banking experience. His banking, investment officer and public finance expertise spans municipalities; schools, airports, and health care sectors; commercial real estate and other commercial loans. Dave’s commercial loan banking career spans from the early 1970’s through 2005, except for five years during the 1980’s when he served as Chief Financial Officer of Yuma Regional Medical Center, a 283-bed hospital at the time, where he was responsible for long-term financial planning, day-to-day financial position, and bond financing.


He was President, Southwest Division of First Capital Bank for three years in the late 1990’s. Dave has extensive experience preparing and reviewing credit review memoranda for loan requests. While in the Home Office Commercial Loan Department of the Valley National Bank of Arizona, the commercial loan portfolio Dave handled included all of the large true commercial leases made by the Bank. As Manager of the Credit Analysis Section of the Bank's Credit Department, Dave had 12 analysts reporting to him who continuously analyzed the loans, financial statements, and tax returns of all the business borrowers (commercial loans, agribusiness loans, commercial real estate loans, and national accounts loans) of the Bank and wrote reports for the loan officers and the Chief Credit Officer of the Bank.


Dave served on the Board of Directors of Yuma County Airport Authority (“YCAA”) for five years and was its President for a year and a half. YCAA operates Yuma International Airport in Yuma, Arizona, which is a shared use airport with Marine Corps Air Station Yuma. He has developed a particular expertise in obtaining federal grant money.


In 2008, Dave was elected Treasurer of Yuma County Arizona and took office in 2009. During his four-year term, the Yuma County Treasurer’s Office received, banked, invested, and distributed over $2 billion for more than 300 local entities. Dave is registered with FINRA as a Series 50 and with the SEC and MSRB as a municipal advisor. He graduated “With Distinction” (top 5% of 300 bankers from 36 states and six foreign countries) from Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.
